Piazze d’Italia Network

About us.

An independent editorial network of territorial guides for those visiting Italy's most important squares, city by city.

What we are — and what we're not

Piazze d’Italia is a network of independent territorial guides dedicated to Italy's historic squares. Each domain in the network tells the story of one specific square: what to see, where to stay, how to get around, which experiences to book as soon as you arrive.

We're not an official site. We're not a municipal or heritage authority portal. We're not an OTA (Online Travel Agency). We're an independent editorial team building territorial guides specific to each square, aiming to answer the question every traveller asks the moment they arrive: so, what now?

How we work

Every guide in the network is built around a specific square, with editorial content verified against sources available at the time of writing. Our editorial process makes use of AI-assisted writing tools, always under the supervision and coordination of our editorial team. We state this openly at the bottom of every page in the network, because we believe in being transparent with our readers.

Practical information — opening hours, prices, travel times, access rules for monuments — can change over time. We always recommend verifying operational details directly with operators or official sources before planning a trip.

Independent

No affiliation with municipalities, heritage authorities or institutional bodies. Purely free editorial content.

Territorial

Every guide tells the story of one specific square — not generic content replicated across multiple domains.

For those arriving in the square

Our guides are designed for people who have just arrived and need immediate, practical answers.

North to south

From Milan to Naples, from the Alps to Campania, continuously expanding to Italy's most important squares.

Monetisation and transparency

The network is supported through affiliate links to selected partners (experiences, accommodation, transport, car rental) and advertising space. Where applicable, we flag this explicitly next to the relevant links. Using these links comes at no extra cost to you. For more details, see our Disclaimer.

The company
